Hi, sounds like you have great plans. Your Alicante to Valencia trip will be pretty easy. The Renfe Euromed trains take about 2-2.30 and there are multiple of them per day. They aren’t high-speed like Ave but still fast. Omio will give you all options, I find it easiest to use this website.
As for Valencia to Bilbao route – it will be more complicated, as there are no direct options. Your best bet will be to go via Madrid – take a high-speed train – Iryo or AVE to Madrid and then there are Renfe trains from there to Bilbao (as far as I know takes about 5 hours). I would recommend to stay in Madrid a few days, if your timeframe allows. From Madrid to Bilbao you could also break the trip and take AVE train to Burgos and then Renfe Alvia from there to Bilbao.
All these options depend on how much time you have for making stopovers.

In reply to Nandini. Hi, sorry I was traveling and managed to get back to you only now. Yes, for Misfat you would have to go to Nizwa first. From there shared taxi would highly likely take you to Al Hamra, if you find other people. We didn't find anyone else, so we had to pay for the whole taxi to Al Hamra. We went to Misfar from there. Otherwise, you can also hire one to take you directly to Misfat, not sure what it would cost you.

Hii!! Your post is super helpful! I am going to travel to Oman soon and I will be staying at Misfat. Any idea if it is easy to get a taxi from there to Muscat? If not, I was thinking of then going till Nizwa and then taking a shared taxi from there. So how much I understood from your post, you ended up paying for the entire shared taxi since no one else joined and that costed you 4 riyals? Do these shared taxis drop you at your Airbnb location if you hire the entire taxi?
