The Lingering Garden

The Lingering Garden was built in 1593, located at Liuyuan Road£¬which is the demonstration of gardens of Qing Dynasty¡£With an area of  23,310 sq.m.it is celebrated for its artistic way of dealing with the spaces between various kinds of architectural form

The garden is separated into the middle ,eastern,northern and western parts. The man-made mountain is the center of the midddle part,lake surrounded and a numger of attractive buildings dotted.Eastern part consist of classical buildings and "three  peaks of the lingering garden",Auspicious Cloud Peak, Mountainous Cloud Peak, Cloud-Capped Peak. The three peaks are made of Taihu Lake stone,so they have special style natural look .It is said that the three peaks was left behind by the imperial collector of the Northern Song Dynasty.
